Graeme graduated from the Law School of Western Australia in 1972 and was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia on 21 December 1973 and subsequently as a High Court Practitioner.  Graeme has successfully appeared in the High Court of Australia on appeal and to the Privy Counsel in London prior to it being abolished as a tribunal of appeal.  He has lectured in performance law at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts and has tutored at the Commerce Department of Western Australia. Graeme was previously the inaugural Chairman of the Social Services Appeals Tribunal, which subsequently became the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Graeme has practised extensively in Family Law throughout his legal career and continues to have a keen interest in this area of the law.  He is also involved in the Arts, having produced two major International films and conducted the financial negotiations for both those films.

His extensive life experience in a number of areas of Law have stood him in good stead in negotiating financial settlements in Family law matters, and in the general conduct of Family Court actions.
